Laura (with the help of one assistant, who prepped hair) did both my hair and make up, 3 bridesmaids, one flower girl and both our mums.
She breezed through everyone with a relaxed, cool and professional manner and we were all ready ahead of schedule. We all felt amazing on the day which is thanks to Laura. She is so talented and just a all round lovely person.
Laura really is fantastic, she is a lovely lady that instantly put me at ease. I felt like I had friend doing my hair and make up, she was relaxed and chatty and clearly loves her job. I wear very little make up and have fine hair so I had been anxious but there really was no need, Laura totally understood my wants and needs. I don't have a lot of confidence but I can honestly say that by the time Laura had finished with me I felt so beautiful, everything I had dreamed of and more. My hair looked amazing (it made me cry when I looked in the mirror as I never thought my hair could look like that) and my make up was absolutely stunning, so natural yet highlighting all the right features. Laura also did a lovely job of my mum's hair and make up and my 3 year old was over the moon with her beautiful curls (Laura's lovely nature meant my 3 year old was more than happy to sit and have her hair done) Thank you Laura for making me feel like such a beautiful bride and for making the morning so relaxed and fun, we had the best day ever.
Laura-Jane did my hair for our recent wedding and it was absolutely stunning! I got so many compliments about it on the day. She made me feel like a million dollars and gave me the confidence to just enjoy our special day. Laura is also so warm and friendly - chatting to her as we got me ready that morning is such a happy memory. All in all a fantastic service. I thoroughly recommend her!
Laura did a fantastic job for my 50's style vintage wedding, and was a great person to have around on the big day - totally relaxed and professional! She did my hair and make-up along with 4 bridesmaids, I am amazed she managed to do it all in the time, however the timings she gave were accurate and we all looked fantastic. She got the vintage theme spot on. Laura was by far the most competitively priced quote I got for my wedding, and in addition to that she traveled to me for the trial, on a weekend - unheard off by most companies, who expect you to travel to them in the middle of nowhere and do weekday appointments at odd times. I can thoroughly recommend Laura, she was a pleasure to have around on my big day, she worked around us effortlessly on the morning and retained her sense of humour and calm demeanor around my crazy family. It was like having a friend to do it, I could not recommend her more!
As someone who does not wear make up and has never enjoyed having my hair done I was worried about picking someone for my wedding day. I need not have worried. From the first contact I was well looked after and listened to. My trial was an enjoyable experience and made me completely relax about the big day. When the wedding arrived Laura was fantastic she worked her way through hair and make up for me, my 3 bridesmaids, my big sister, my mum and the at the last minute my little sister. She did all of this with no stress and a big smile all day. All of us looked amazing and it lasted all day, looking beautiful in all the photographs. I would fully recommend LJP hair and make up to any bride for her big day.
Laura-Jane is an outstanding hair and make-up artist and I highly recommend her. I was a slightly unconventional bride because of my short hair and bright red wedding dress but Laura-Jane was open-minded and had some amazingly creative ideas which looked incredible on the day. My maid-of-honour was extremely happy with her hair and make-up too. Laura-Jane is super friendly and was a warm and calming presence on my wedding day.
