These apply to all wedding bookings with LJP Bridal Hair and makeup
Booking enquiries can be made via this web page , email or social media.
LJP Bridal will supply a quote and confirm availability.
To secure the booking, clients must pay a non refundable deposit of 20%. The balance is the remainder plus any travel charges.
LJP Bridal will provide a booking summary and confirm receipt of the deposit. It is the client's responsibility to check the booking summary and ensure that LJP Bridal is notified of any errors within 7 days of receipt. If the client notifies LJP Bridal of an error after this period and LJP Bridal Hair is unable to fulfill the booking, cancellation fees may apply.
Please note that the booking is not final until the deposit has been paid in full and LJP Bridal has confirmed receipt in writing/ email.
The deposit can be paid by BACS or Paypal.
The trial is payable to the stylist on the day of the trial.
The balance is payable at least 7 days before the wedding date by BACS or Paypal.
The price agreed at the time of booking is final, so if LJP Bridal Hair price list changes it will not affect your agreed rate.
Cancellation of the booking by myself will result in a refund of 100% of costs already paid by the client. In the unlikely event that I am unable to make your wedding appointment due to personal emergency, act of god, and severe illness I will try to find you an alternative makeup artist whom I highly recommend. They will receive a brief and any products required that they might not have in their kit
Cancellation of the booking by the client – Should you need to cancel any appointment please contact Laura-Jane as soon as possible. If a full cancellation is made within 28 days of the wedding date LJP will retain your 20% deposit that has already been paid. If the cancellation is made within 7 days of the booking the full balance is still required.
Please note that all changes or cancellations MUST be stated in email form.
We want our clients to be happy with their stylist. If a client decides to cancel a wedding booking after a trial, the deposit for any wedding day charges will be refunded.
The trial is completely non refundable.
In exceptional circumstances a stylist may need to cancel a booking. This has never happened before but, if it does all attempts will be made to find an alternative stylist. If this is not possible or is unacceptable to the client, LJP Bridal will refund 100% of the deposit.
Please note if you require a second trial you will need to pay the full trial amount.
Changes to bookings
Notification should be given of any changes to the booking and trial as soon as possible. This includes changes to the number of clients, location, dates and times. It is the clients responsibility to do this.
Changes must be confirmed in writing via email and are not accepted as written notice until you have received a reply from LJP Bridal.
Change of trial date - An alternative date will be found.
Change of wedding date - We will do our best to rebook for the new date. If this is not possible then the usual cancellation terms apply.
Change to number of clients - A new price will be calculated based on our current price list to reflect any changes in the bridal party.
Stylists reserve the right to refuse to work if a client is rude or aggressive. In this case the usual cancellation policy will apply.
